This blog is a way to get my art out into the great big world. It is my hope that my art will bring someone happiness as much as it gives me.
I primarily use oil based paints. Sometimes I am adventurous and use acrylics...but it is really not my favorite medium if I had to choose. I have an organic twist to my work I think or so I have been told. I guess you can judge for yourself. Enjoy!

New Mexico
After Texas I journeyed to Santa Fe, New Mexico. It was there that I truly fell in love with the West. Here are a couple pieces that I created while living there.
The one of my mother has the flowers I saved from her funeral in the picture.
I am 30. About to turn 31...yikes never thought I would actually admit that! I am married to a wonderful man who believes in me very much and even though he does not understand my art, he is very supportive. No children yet, but someday I hope to have one or two or...no just two.
I live in one of the most beautiful states Californ-I-A and enjoy the sunshine very much!
